Hilton Connected Room

In December of 2017, Hilton announced the rollout of the Hilton Connected Room, a mobile-centric guestroom experience, where guests can (among other things) control the thermostat from Hilton’s smartphone app. Verdant was named a Hilton Connected Room approved thermostat vendor quickly thereafter.

Verdant’s Hilton Connected Room thermostat contains a built in Zigbee chip that communicates with Hilton’s Edge Controller to allow for control of the thermostat through the Hilton Smartphone app.

Hilton Connected Room thermostats are strongly recommended for all Hilton brands, and mandatory in Motto, Tempo, and Signia brands. At present, only wired thermostats are approved for this initiative.

Retrofitting Previous Generation Verdant Thermostats for Hilton Connected Room

Note: To deploy the Hilton Connected Room, Hilton properties must upgrade their network infrastructure to Hilton’s OnQ product.
